The Quality Control Specialist – Product Testing Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist with a strong hardware focus to ensure the performance, reliability, and durability of our products. In this role, you will work closely with our Research and Development (R&D) team to rigorously test and evaluate a range of hardware products, ensuring they meet the highest industry standards before they reach our customers. Your hands-on expertise in hardware testing will be crucial to refining new products and delivering exceptional quality to our users.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct in-depth hardware testing on new and existing products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and perform reliably under real-world conditions.

• Develop and implement hardware-specific testing protocols and procedures to evaluate product functionality, performance, and durability across a range of devices (e.g., docks, hubs, storage, peripherals, and more).

• Troubleshoot and analyze hardware issues, identifying and documenting failures or potential improvements related to product design, components, and performance.

• Provide detailed testing reports, and collaborate with R&D to incorporate feedback into product refinements or redesigns.

• Use diagnostic tools and testing equipment to inspect and evaluate internal hardware components, ensuring optimal functionality and product integrity.

• Stay updated on the latest hardware testing methodologies and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing processes and ensure our products remain at the forefront of the industry.

• Adapt testing strategies for entirely new categories of hardware products as the company expands its portfolio.

We’re seeking someone with:

• Proven experience in hardware quality control, product testing, or a related technical field, with a strong focus on hardware systems.

• Strong technical aptitude and experience with hardware testing tools, diagnostic equipment, and testing environments.

• Hands-on experience with hardware-level troubleshooting and familiarity with electronics, circuit boards, and system configurations.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail when evaluating hardware performance.

• Strong communication skills to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, design, and engineering.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
