The Operations Director Role:
As our Operations Director, you will be at the heart of our operations, ensuring smooth, efficient processes from start to finish. This role isn't just about oversight; it's about being actively involved in solving problems, optimizing workflows, and ensuring that every piece of furniture meets our high standards of quality.
In the Operations Director role, you will:
- Lead with Vision: Implement and execute strategies that prioritize our customers, align with our values of honesty, quality, curiosity, growth, and teamwork, and drive operational success.
- Ensure Operational Excellence: Manage daily operations with a hands-on approach, utilizing data-driven insights to continuously enhance our processes and product quality.
- Inspire and Mentor: Lead multiple teams by fostering a collaborative, innovative, and supportive work environment. Mentor team members, encouraging a culture of curiosity and continuous learning.
- Enhance Customer Experience: Work closely with customer service and sales teams to ensure all operational activities enhance the customer experience.
- Innovate and Improve: Identify and implement creative solutions to operational challenges, supporting scalable and sustainable growth.
Job requirements
Who Are You?
You're a seasoned operations professional with a proven track record of success. You're not just a strategic thinker but also someone who enjoys getting into the details to solve problems and improve processes. Your leadership style is collaborative and motivational, and you're eager to bring your expertise to our team.
We're looking for someone with:
- At least 10 years of experience in a senior operations role, preferably in retail or furniture.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- High proficiency with operational and productivity software (e.g., ERP systems, data analysis tools).
- Excellent strategic planning, organizational abilities, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
